Harris rebuilds are fully refurbished, many with warranties that exceed new equipment. Our air end rebuilding program does the following:
1. Air ends are disassembled and inspected using stringent Harris standards
2. If required worn shafts are metallized to proper dimensions
3. New air end bearings are fitted and installed
4. End plates are check and refurbished if required
5. Rotor sealing surfaces are inspected and repaired if required
6. Where used, all gaskets and shaft seals are replaced
7. The proper elastomer sealants are used for metal to metal seals
8. Gasket and elastomers are compatibe with commonly used oil (mineral and synthetic except fire resistant esters)
9. A fresh coat of Harris industrial quality paint is applied
